The Greek mass media are striking from 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning until 6 a.m. on Thursday morning ahead of the 24-hour nationwide strike taking place on Thursday in protest against austerity measures included in the 2015 budget.
The Athens journalists’ union ESIEA has called for a three-hour work stoppage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday and a noon rally outside the union’s building.
