A 4.1 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred today at 03:35 Greek time, as the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens announced.
The tremor occurred 286 km south/southeast of Athens and the epicentre is located in the sea area 36 km northwest of the city of Heraklion.
