FleetWeather Business Intelligence, a provider of maritime business intelligence solutions and consulting services for global shippers announced the opening of a new office in Athens in October. The new office would help it serve and develop its existing customer base in Greece, Turkey and Cyprus, while handling growing demand throughout Europe.

“We have experienced tremendous growth and new business in Greece over the last few years with interest and inquiries continuing at a high level. This location puts us closer to many of our customers, allowing for enhanced services and closer working relationships with them,” said Jess Hurwitz, FleetWeather’s director of global sales and marketing and chief technology officer.
