The people in the city center of Cambridge were befuddled as Poseidon and Athena took to the streets as part of a campaign to get children interested in history. When the gods aren’t sightseeing around Cambridge, they perform at the Cambridge Arts Theater as hosts for two shows from the Horrible Histories series where they portray Groovy Greeks.

Actors Chris Yarnell and Laura Dalgleish, who play Poseidon and Athena, enjoyed their chance to meet with the public in their romp through the city. They hope in this way to get kids interested in history.

Groovy Greeks teaches young Brits about the Olympic Games and the Minotaur too. It runs until Saturday, October 31.
