Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos denied the claims according to which members of SYRIZA had conversations with prisoners discussing even the legislations promoted by the ministry. Mr. Paaskevopoulos even stressed that Panos Lambros was no longer employee of the Ministry of Justice.

However, a document posted on Diavgia website on October 30 refutes minister’s claims, since it clearly states that Panos Lampros is an eventual employee of the Ministry of Justice.

Moreover, Panos Lambros’s name has been involved in the accusations of former citizen protection minister Giannis Panousis for dialogues between SYRIZA members and terrorists.

Minister of Justice, though, commented on the issue saying that the State must talk with prisoners, but cannot be blackmailed. However, the excerpts of the dialogues that have been published seem to refute Mr. Paaskevopoulos’s opinion.
