Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras’ upcoming visit to Turkey will focus on the international and regional developments while special emphasis on the refugees issue and the bilateral relations.
The visit to Ankara is scheduled for November 18, and follows an invitation extended by Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on a meeting that took place on the sidelines of the last UN General Assembly.
Tsipras told his cabinet that the Greek government hopes to play a leading role in EU-Turkish deliberations concerning the management of the refugees crisis and this visit is a step in that direction.
