The European Central Bank (ECB) prepared for the launch of a new 20-euro banknote on November 25, 2015. To prepare for its launch 2.8 mln businesses are receiving information leaflets and motion cards so as to be informed about the “design and security features” of the new note. It can be easily checked manually using the feel-look-tilt method.

The bank showed on the official website that the new series of the 20-euro banknotes will carry a completely new security feature – a transparent portrait window on the right of the note on the hologram strip.
