The first video footage of Silvio Berlusconi carrying out his community service has been published. The video shows the former Italian prime minister dressed in a white lab coat, joking with a group of elderly residents before he strolls over the vending machine to chat to two younger women.

On Monday, Berlusconi’s lawyers threatened to take legal action over the publication of the video, arguing it was an invasion of privacy.
However, La Repubblica site argues that that it had obscured all faces except for Berlusconi’s to protect privacy.
