Portrayals of the human body say a lot about the way society views itself. In Ancient Greece, the naked physique represented sheer perfection, but times have changed and Soraya pokes fun at the social media trend of sending private parts by gaining inspiration from it. The idea for the penis-themed fashion photo shoot came when she was single. As she says:
“Back when I was single, I would get a ton of dick pics and my friends would get them, and we would show them to each other and some dick pics were better than the other ones, and I thought, ‘what if I took them with a professional camera?’ And then I was walking through a Walmart and I saw a couple of dolls. I just kind of put two and two together and thought I could create a personality out of penises.”
She created a ‘dicture gallery’ and it was so successful that she turned her activity into a career, putting clothes on penises.
