The Minister of Administrative Reform, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, talked to SKAI 100,3 and said that those who defend the public nature of PPC defend their own interests and not the welfare of the general public.

“The same people who refer to the public nature of PPC, when they apologize – and I refer to Mr. Fotopoulos- about charges are claiming that the property of PPC is not public,” stressed Mr. Mitsotakis.

“The government will not proceed to privatization of PPC, the 30% of the business will be sold in order to boost competition,” the minister explained.

He also noted that in fact public sector has failed up to now to achieve the structural reforms required so that citizens will be also benefited by these reforms.
