Renowned Greek songwriter and composer Mikis Theodorakis lashed out at the Greek government and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in a letter posted on his website.

The great composer, who had recently expressed his sorrow for the current prime minister stating that “he deceived me”, writes in his letter about “a left-right political formation that has the overwhelming electoral and popular minority and obeys to the commands of foreigners destroying the present and future of our country, “stressing that everything Tsipras does, he does it with no shame and knowing the harm he provokes to our society.
