Conservative major Greek opposition party New Democracy issued a statement on the results of the Eurogroup meeting, attacking the government for wasting 7 months to achieve an insuffient review of the Greek program. New Democracy claims the actual review has not concluded, as it asserts there are ‘hidden’ prior actions.
The statement points out that the Greek government’s ‘ideological obsessions’ had led to the implementation of a series of wrong measures for the completion of the review. New Democracy’s criticism towards the government also focuses on the fact that the disbursement of the first installment is only part of what had initially been promised for Greece.
