Tension erupted during the protest rally organized by the dock workers in the center of Athens on Tuesday morning protesting against Piraeus port privatization.

Incidents occurred between the protestors and the police, when the dock workers were not allowed to enter the hotel where the shareholders’ meeting was taking place.

The demonstrators marched from Klathmonos square shouting slogans against the government and lashing out at prime minister Alexis Tsipras.
