British newspaper Independent recommended to its readers to visit the Greek island of Thassos during September.

In its article entitled “Where’s hot in June? Holidays to take now and plan ahead”, the newspaper says that “September is one of the mellowest times to visit Greece, with warm temperatures and few crowds,” and recommends Thassos, the most northerly of the Greek islands, for relaxing and carefree vacations.
