A new poll conducted by Alco on behalf of GSEE (General Confederation of Greek Workers ) and published at TA NEA newspaper shows that 8 out of 10 citizens believe that the coalition government is not able to lead Greece out of crisis.

Asked on whether they believe government is capable of leading the country out of crisis, 80% of the participants answered ‘no’, while 11% answered ‘yes’ and 9% did not answer.

As it is mentioned in the newspaper, the poll shows a turnaround in the body of voters of the coalition government: 63% of SYRIZA voters and 61% of ANEL voters do not trust the government anymore and do not think that this government is able to lead the country out of crisis.

Asked on what is more important for the economy, 70% said the end of austerity, while 17% said debt sustainability and 9% did not answer.

Regarding the measures that the government has taken, 38% believe self-employed are those who are mostly affected, followed by pensioners (27%), employees of private sector (19%) and employees of public sector (6%).

Finally, 84% of the respondents believe that mass layoffs will definitely affect negatively Greek economy.
