Prokopis Pavlopoulos paid a visit to two schools on Monday morning, in order to watch the sanctification of the new academic year’s first day. Giving a speech to the students at the schools of Nikea and Egaleo, he wished them “a good school year” and advised them on studying and honouring their teachers.
“Firstly, you should study. You should study mindfully and methodically. You have to remember that no IQ can replace study”.
The President of Hellenic Republic also told the children that if they want, the world is theirs and that nothing can stand in their way to progress. “You should also honor your teachers for their priceless educational offering, your parents and your family overall for the sacrifices they make in order for you to spread your wings and create your own path in life”, he advised them.
