According to data released by STR, a US-based company dealing in analysing trends and supply and demand in the global tourism industry, Greek hotels reached 81.9% capacity in the 3rd quarter of 2016. The figure confirms the positive performance of the Greek accommodation industry for the months of September and August. The data shows a 5.8% rise in comparison to last year’s respective term. The average daily rate (ADR), according to the data, stood at 144.49 Euros, a 2.2% increase. July proved to be the strongest month of the 3rd term, with a 9.5% increase in revenue per available room (RevPAR), while September had the highest capacity rate at 84.3%.
