The confirmation of the primary surplus by Eurostat in conjunction with the successful exit of the country to the markets mean that “we exit the crisis and return to normalcy”, stressed PASOK leader and deputy prime minister Evangelos Venizelos. “However, some are saddened instead of being happy”, he added, indirectly attacking the opposition.

More specifically, the President of PASOK noted that “Eurostat’s announcement on the primary surplus confirmed the great achievement of the Greek people, which is the result of their big sacrifices”. He also added that “the next step is to make the Greek debt’s sustainability official”.
