Speaking on Turkish TV station NTV today (December 23), US Ambassador to Turkey John Bass categorically rejected accusations concerning his country’s involvement in the assassination of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov.
Emphasizing that there was no evidence backing the allegations, Bass said the US denied the accusations and condemned the attack.
Also answering a question about assertions on the slowing of the process with regards to responding Turkey’s demands on extradition of Gülen, Bass said “the review of the process about his extradition had not slowed down”, adding, “it is important to speak about this issue less since there are difference in legal procedures of the two countries.”
