Posters against AIDS with couples enjoying love in various sexual positions have filled Switzerland’s streets causing intense discomfort for many human rights organizations as well as Swiss citizens.
According to French newspaper “Liberation” the case has apparently become scandalous since the public considered all the personal imagery as provocative. At the initiative of the Swiss health authorities, the campaign against AIDS titled: “Love life”, aims to raise awareness about the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases.
As indicated by international media, health authorities had the idea to communicate with various couples of many sexual preferences.
Even in Switzerland, a country considered free of taboos and prejudice, the ads are causing a stir, since people viewing the provocative imagery think they should not be in the streets, where children can see them.
According to the French newspaper, the campaign had 300 citizens applying, with five couples between 20 and 52 years of age being chosen. The choice criteria were many. Varying from looks to their freedom when faced with the cinematic lens, as well as covering all sexual tastes.
