PASOK  MP Thanos Moraitis spoke of “Huge responsibilities and obsessions that led to the current parody with ENFIA, which once again challenges the tolerance of Greeks and affects their dignity” and directly criticized the political leadership of Ministry of Finance: “The ministry was not prepared while – as we had warned on time – the tax model for taxing each property separately failed and led to extraordinary injustices among Greek citizens”.

Mr. Moraitis calls government to “claim its responsibilities and make the necessary corrections and follow the recommendations of PASOK which will be announced in the upcoming days. But what is important is to extent the tax payment deadline. It is unthinkable to force citizens pay for the political incompetence”.

He also said that the property tax should be planned from scratch and should be based on the total real estate”.
