The last photos of Robin Williams alive

The photos from an art gallery exhibition are heart-wrenching and feature a gaunt Robin Williams in a black suit

Newsroom August 16 12:08

The last photos of actor Robin Williams on the day before he committed suicide depict the popular comedian with a grey beard and mustache dressed in a black suit. He looks frail and worn out at the art gallery reception near his home in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The 63-year-old Oscar-winning actor who had recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease attended the event with his wife Sue Schneider.  People present say that he wasn’t drinking any alcohol and was sober.

Ceramist Mark Jaeger – whose exhibition Williams had attended – says that the actor spent about an hour there and seemed to be in a good mood mingling with the other guests.  In the past, Williams had bought a sculpture from Jaeger and the artist says that he and Williams were discussing an idea for a script about a homeless superhero based on a ceramic superhero series.

Just 48 hours after the Saturday night party, Williams’ lifeless body was discovered in his home.
