Attica region governor Dourou meets with Athens mayor Kaminis

The two sides agreed to join forces in regard to the issues of social cohesion, combined tourism promotion, recycling and investment priorities

Attica region governor Rena Dourou met with the mayor of Athens Giorgos Kaminis to discuss the cooperation prospects for the improvement of coordination and the implementation of a plan for dealing with the problems of Athens.

The two sides agreed to join forces in regard to the issues of social cohesion, combined tourism promotion, recycling and investment priorities under the new National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF).

They also discussed the prospect of systematic cooperation so that all issues can be resolved in a productive and straightforward manner, without bureaucratic delays.

Ms. Dourou presented the priorities of the new Regional Authority regarding the creation of a model of development with emphasis on employment and social protection. On his part, Mr. Kaminis presented the NSRF funds management model implemented in the municipality and the city planning for the new season.
