Lenovo, one of the biggest players on the Chinese market for smartphones, is planning to extend to eight European countries over the coming months. This planned expansion is to take place in Turkey, Greece, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria in a first wave with pones expected to reach the market between the end of September and the start of October.

At the moment, Lenovo already sells phones in Romania and the Czech Republic, but by November and December there will be a total number of 10 countries. Lenovo is eyeing entry into Poland, Slovenia and Croatia before the year ends.

The company’s ultimate goal is to expand on a global scale. They’re starting small but hope to someday reach the masses in a way that is similar to Samsung and LG that sell their phones to over 100 countries around the globe.
