Those in violation will face a hefty fine

Newsroom April 19 08:44

The new provisions for employees in the private and public sectors in relation to Covid-19 self-test kits will take effect from today, Monday.

The self-testing.gov.gr platform for employees to use is open and the implementation of the measure in the first week will be on a pilot basis, however, the employees in the private and public sector will be able to attend their work only with a negative test.

In the private sector, testing should be done by those engaged in retail (including supermarkets and food and beverage outlets), in catering, in transportation (land, sea, air), cleaning services, hairdressers, barbershops, beauty salons, but also in gambling service stores and betting services.
