30 years since the death of liberal politician Pavlos Bakoyannis on September 26, 1989, by members of the radical Marxist terrorist group November 17 (N17), the family of the man who was shot and killed in front of the entrance of his office in 1989 decided to turn his family home into a museum. The house in Velota, Carpenisi, where he was born and raised is now the Democracy Museum. Inside, there’s a library and photographs that pay homage to his life.
