The weather is changing from tomorrow Tuesday, with the temperature rising significantly, according to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service.
The warm gas masses moving from North Africa to Greece will cause a noticeable rise in temperature from Tuesday.
It is pointed out that from Thursday (29-7-2021) until Tuesday (3-8-2021) the temperature will be particularly high throughout Greece.
More specifically:
1) On Tuesday (27-7-2021) high temperatures will prevail in the western, central and northern country. The highest prices are expected to be in:
a. Mainland Greece: In western Sterea, Epirus and Thessaly (up to 39 to 40 degrees Celsius) and in central Macedonia (up to 38 to 39 degrees Celsius)
b. Island Greece: In the Ionian Islands (up to 35 to 36 degrees Celsius).
2) On Wednesday (28-7-2021) high temperatures will prevail almost all over the country. The highest prices will be in:
a. Mainland Greece: In western Sterea and Thessaly (up to 40 to 41 degrees Celsius) and in central Macedonia and Epirus (up to 39 to 40 degrees Celsius)
b. Island part of Greece: In the Ionian Islands, the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese (up to 37 degrees Celsius).
3) On Thursday (29-7-2021) high temperatures will prevail throughout the country. The highest prices are expected to be in:
a. Mainland Greece: In western Sterea and Thessaly (up to 41 to 42 degrees Celsius) and in central Macedonia and Epirus (up to 40 to 41 degrees Celsius)
b. Island Greece: In the Ionian Islands (up to 38 to 40 degrees Celsius) and in the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese (up to 37 to 38 degrees Celsius).
From Friday (30-7-2021) until Tuesday (3-8-2021) the temperature will fluctuate at very high levels and will reach about 43 degrees Celsius, while temperatures will remain high overnight, with minimum values above 25 to 26 degrees Celsius.
