Following the recent publication of opinion polls which were analyzed by SYRIZA, the main opposition party said on Tuesday that the target for parliamentary majority can be achieved.

According to a SYRIZA non-paper, recent opinion polls that show a clear lead of the leftist party confirm that its program is becoming more and more popular among citizens.

More specifically, the party said that SYRIZA’s clear victory at the European elections has paved the way for initiatives during the summer regarding Public Power Corporation (PPC) and the sea shore and allowed the party to form alliances aimed at defending the public wealth.

Based on opinion poll results, SYRIZA believes that “the target of a parliamentary majority is achievable,” and notes that those measurements were not conducted during a pre-election period, but at a time when the political questions are less pressing for the citizens.
