To video shows 15 year old Somali Yahya Abdi emerging from the wheel of the aircraft, to which he clung while traveling from California to Hawaii. The footage is incredible, as incredible is the story of the young boy.

The 15 year old who was living in California, but is originally from Somalia, was able to travel from San Jose to Maui in Hawaii “curled up” inside the wheel well of a Boeing 767 for five and a half hours. It is astonishing that the boy managed to survive, flying at 35,000 feet, despite low oxygen and freezing temperatures .

The footage that was released at the request of the media by the Ministry of Transport of Hawaii looks unassuming at first, but then we can clearly see the young boy jumping to the ground, sitting on the concrete for a few seconds and then walking towards the front of the aircraft.
According to police spokesman in California, Albert Morales, the Somali immigrant flew back to San Jose and was being cared for by Santa Clara County Child Protective Services.
