One woman killed in shooting in Thessaloniki pastry shop

The shooter and victim are both Roma women

A woman has reportedly opened fire and killed another woman in a patisserie, in Nea Madyto, Thessaloniki, a few minutes ago.

According to reports, the victim of the attack has died. As Voria.gr reports, the victim died in Ippokration hospital despite efforts by paramedics and doctors.

The motives for the shooting are still unclear.

“We heard three gunshots and immediately ran to see what had happened. We learned that a woman entered the patisserie, while a few minutes later another followed her, who shot her. They are both Roma and neither of them works in the pastry shop. One is definitely here in the area because we see her we know her, the other who is younger in age I do not know where she came from and her relationship with the other. They certainly have differences but no one knows anything else”, a resident from Nea Madyto told protothema.gr
