Coronavirus Greece – 16,060 cases, 56 deaths, 389 intubated

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,296 patients have been discharged from the ICU

The National Organization of Public Health ( EODY ) announced on Friday afternoon (04/03) that the laboratory-confirmed new cases of coronavirus are 16,060, of which 31 were identified after checks at the country’s entry points.

The total number of cases is 2,486,262 (daily change + 0.7%), of which 49.5% are men. Based on the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 255 are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 2,077 are related to an already known case.

Their median age is 67 years. 89.2% have an underlying disease and/or age 70 years and older. Among intubated patients, 273 (70.18%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 116 (29.82%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,296 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

The Plenary of the Council of State (StE) has rejected the appeal filed by ADEDY and a public school teacher seeking the reinstatement of the holiday bonuses for public sector employees.
