UK Prime Minister’s Conservative party accepted the resignation of Brooks Newmark, Minister for Civil Society, who was caught exchanging explicit photos over social media networks with an undercover reporter, who was purporting to be an attractive young woman.

Newmark, married and father of five children, was trapped by a male freelance reporter who made him believing that he was communicating with a female supporter of the party, named Sophie.

The journalist was investigating allegations that some MPs were using social media sites to meet women and sold the story to Sunday Mirror.

The truth was revealed, however, when “Sophie” sent to 56-year-old political explicit photos via email.

At first, the messages sent between the Minister and the young girl were posted on their profiles and were there to be seen by everyone.

However, their conversation became more personal after a short time, since they were chatting on Chatroom and started exchanging ‘hot’ email.

On July 17, 2014 the journalist-Sophie sent Newmark a naked photo of her asking him not to show it to anyone.

Mr Newmark replied: ‘You must be kidding! I’d never do that. But resend without your hand in the way and legs parted and I will send something in return. That way we both have a secret.’

He added: ‘Assuming it meets my request and I reciprocate you MUST swear on a stack of Bibles you won’t show pics as I promise not to show pics of you? OK?’

The only thing Newmark said when the story was published was that he behaved like an idiot.

He insisted he had noone to blame but himself, and said he wanted some time with his family.

However, as it became known, “Sophie” had tried to seduce other politicians of UK in the past.

The beautiful woman of the photo, though, is a 22-year-old Swedish model and stated that she was furious and insulted when she realized that someone was using her photos in that way and without her permission.
