Newsroom August 4 04:11

The Hellenic Hospital in Valoukli in Constantinople was engulfed in flames and was evacuated.

A total 104 patients and the elderly were evacuated safely.

The fire was brought under control at approximately 2:20 p.m. local time.

As reported by the media, the fire may have been caused by a problem with the hospital’s electrical system.

As announced, the fire started in the elderly care department and spread to floors of the building.

As soon as the fire was noticed the patients were carried away from the flames with any means necessary.

The patients were taken to nearby hospitals.
