According to the shocking reports of the international media, a 13 year old girl from India ended her life because her mother ordered her to stop using facebook and to delete her profile on the popular social networking site!

13 year old Aditi Gupta was so upset at her mother’s request that shortly afterwards she hanged herself in her room.

Mrs. Gupta told the police that she asked her daughter to delete her profile and went to work. When she got back home, however, she found her daughter dead.

“I told her she was too young to be on Facebook and that she was wasting her time”, said the shocked mother who could not believe her daughter would end her life over something so trivial.
