An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter Scale occurred on Monday morning in the sea area off Zakynthos in the Ionian Sea.
According to the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake occurred at 7:53 am on Monday.
The epicentre of the earthquake in Zakynthos was located in the sea area 86 km west-southwest of Zakynthos.
The focal depth of the magnitude 4.4 earthquake was estimated at 2 km.
