The Greek Drug Squad raided the house of a 52-year-old man on the island of Rhodes this week and were surprised to find a stash of ancient coins along with the narcotics. The police submitted the antiquities to the Ministry of Culture for a full evaluation of their worth.
Specifically, they found the following antiquities:
* 212 ancient coins
* Thirty bullets
* Six perfume clay
* A jar
* A black glazed jug
* A led wedge
* A bronze signet ring
* A copper ring
* A small bronze nail
* A small bronze bowl-shaped
* Three weights from antiquity
* Three two-handled vials
* Four beads
* Two ancient clay lamps
* Two metal hooks from antiquity
* A fish-shaped led plate
* Various fragments of terracotta and bronze from a number of objects
They also found the drug stash that they had expected to find in the first place that included 2 kilos and 53 grams worth of cannabis as well as cannabis seeds and leaves.
