Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke to the British channel ITV and referred to those who lost their holidays in Rhodes due to the fires, announcing that they would be compensated.
The Greek government, in cooperation with the local authorities, will offer a week’s free holiday in Rhodes next spring or autumn for all those who missed it because of the fires, the Prime Minister said, speaking to the British channel ITV and the show Good Morning Britain.
Greece is a safe country was the Prime Minister’s main message, while he clarified that tourists who wish to do so will be able to return to Rhodes next year in the spring to enjoy the island and its beauties.
