Marinakis: On 11 March at Maximou the meeting of the Prime Minister with the farmers of Thessaly

As government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis said, the Prime Minister will then go to Thessaloniki for the conference of the New Democracy party

Newsroom March 4 01:57

On Monday 11 March, the Prime Minister will meet with farmers and institutional bodies on the issues of Thessaly at the Maximou.

According to government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis, the Prime Minister will then go to Thessaloniki for the ND (New Democracy) congress.

Referring to the Universities, he said that the bill will strengthen the public university.

As he said during the briefing of the political editors from September we will have the increase of the student allowance

Responding to the emails of Anna Michelle Asimakopoulou, the government spokesman said that “the Secretary General of the Interior has replied saying that MoI does not provide emails. So there is no issue.”

“The ND government since August 2019 incorporated a European directive and tightened the regime for personal data. We are sticking to the statement of secretary general of MoI and every complaint is being investigated,” he noted.

Commenting on SYRIZA’s reports on the issue, he said “classic SYRIZA.

Trying to use any fact to create a problem on an important issue. The Asimakopoulou issue has nothing to do with the integrity of the letter process.

It is not for opposition reasons to try to sabotage postal votes.”

“It is not right on the basis of evidence to link complaints to postal voting.

There is no substantive, legal, political reason to risk absentee ballots. Many have received messages from MPs of other parties.

It happened in the May election. There is authority to complain and make checks,” he said.

Commenting on the admission of SYRIZA MEP Costas Arvanitis who revealed that he not only voted for the European Parliament resolution on the rule of law in Greece, but also helped in its drafting, Pavlos Marinakis at the briefing of political editors said: “Costas Arvanitis cynically admitted his participation, proudly admitted it.

He said that he was not only one of the editors, but he was proud of the fact that he was the initiator of an article that foresaw a funding cut for Greece.

A Greek Member of the European Parliament was elected by the vote of Greek citizens to slander his country and to make resolutions to block money for the country.”
