Stavros Papastavrou and Yannis Bratakos submitted their resignations

The statement issued by the Prime Minister's Press Office

The Minister of State, Stavros Papastavrou and the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Yannis Bratakos, have submitted their resignations to the Prime Minister.

According to reports, Mr Papastavrou and Mr Bratakos were summoned by the Prime Minister to his office in Maximou and there they submitted their resignations.

As the Prime Minister’s Press Office announced, the resignations were accepted with Mitsotakis thanking them for their cooperation so far.

“The Minister of State, Stavros Papastavrou and the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Yannis Bratakos, submitted their resignations to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis a short while ago.

The Prime Minister thanked them for their cooperation and accepted their resignations”.

According to government sources, their resignation came after they participated in a social event which sent the wrong message to the government.
