Nurseries: 20,000 applications on the first day

The submission of applications and the corresponding, if applicable, supporting documents is made until 1 August 2024, based on the last digit of the VAT number

The first day of the platform’s operation saw 20,000 applications from eligible voucher recipients seeking admission to nurseries and access to creative activities for school-aged children, teenagers, and individuals with disabilities for the 2024-2025 period. This was reported by the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zacharaki, in an interview with SKAI radio.

Minister Zacharaki assured that “all children of eligible recipients with disabilities and children with disabilities will be enrolled in nurseries and KDAP for individuals with disabilities.” It should be noted that applications and the necessary supporting documents must be submitted exclusively through the special application on the website of the Hellenic Agency for Local Development and Local Government (EETAA S.A.) at www.eetaa.gr, paidikoi.eetaa.gr, from July 11, 2024, to August 1, 2024, based on the last digit of the VAT number, starting as follows:

– 11/7/2024 – 14/7/2024 for VAT numbers ending in 0, 1, 2.
– 15/7/2024 – 17/7/2024 for VAT numbers ending in 3, 4, 5.
– 18/7/2024 – 20/7/2024 for VAT numbers ending in 6, 7, 8, 9.
– 21/7/2024 – 01/8/2024 for all TINs.

Referring to the ongoing housing programs, Ms. Sophia Zacharaki said that the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family is making improvements to the “Renovate – Rent” program, which are to be announced in the coming days. Among other things, the amount of the subsidy is being increased from 40 to 60% with retroactive effect for applications already submitted. At the same time, there will be an increase in the amount from the current 10,000.
