President Karolos Papoulias will travel to Thessaloniki on Monday afternoon to attend events for the celebration of the October 28 national holiday.

Mr. Papoulias is expected to meet with Macedonia-Thrace Minister Giorgos Orfanos on Monday at 18.40.

On Tuesday at 10.30, he will lay a wreath at the monument of the 3rd Army Corps.

At 11.00 he will attend a military parade that will take place along Megalou Alexandrou avenue. Defence Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos will also be present at the parade.
