According to the network of automatic weather stations of the National Observatory of Athens / meteo.gr, the maximum temperature on Tuesday 30/07 was recorded in Skala Messinia and was equal to 40.6 °C.

The map in the image below shows the distribution of the maximum temperature in the country on Tuesday 30/07. As shown by the measurements of the weather stations, the temperature exceeded 35 °C at 179 of the 515 currently active stations, while 37 °C was exceeded at 58 stations.

Clear weather is expected with local clouds and the possibility of local rain in the mountains of the Peloponnese in the afternoon.

The temperature will range in Western Macedonia from 14 to 31 degrees, in the rest of northern Greece from 13 to 35 degrees, in Thessaly from 14 to 34 degrees, in Epirus from 14 to 37 degrees, in the rest of the continental parts from 15 to 36-37 degrees, in the Ionian Islands from 20 to 33-34 degrees, in the Aegean islands and in Crete from 20 to 30 degrees (locally in southern Crete up to 34-36 degrees), while on the islands of the eastern Aegean the maximum temperatures will reach 36-37 degrees Celsius.
