The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, in a post on “X” (formerly Twitter), referred to the four years since the signing of the EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone) between Greece and Egypt.

As he emphasized, he had the honor to sign on behalf of the Hellenic Republic “with the then Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly country, Sameh Shoukry.”

“With the signing of the Agreement, we secured national interests and confirmed that adhering to International Law and the International Law of the Sea is a necessary condition for the delimitation of maritime zones in our region,” Mr. Dendias stressed.
