Director Antonis Antypas has died at the age of 83.

The news was shared in a heartfelt post by the composer and his wife of 40 years, Eleni Karaindrou.

“My beloved Antonis Antypas, the man who gave me his love and absolute devotion for 40 years, is no longer with us. I thank him from the depths of my soul and he will remain forever my precious guide. Antonis, I love you and I will always see you with a smile on your beautiful face,” she wrote.

Who Was Antonis Antypas?
