Fatal car accident occurred in Chania in the early morning hours with a 33-year-old man leaving his last breath on the asphalt in Alikianos.
The 33-year-old was heading from Alikianos to Vatolakkos when, under unclear circumstances, he lost control of the two-wheeler and crashed into a concrete PPC pillar.
A fire brigade team and an ambulance of the ambulance service arrived immediately to pick him up, but it was already too late for the unfortunate man.
The death of the 33-year-old brings to 40 the number of road victims in Crete as of early 2024.
