The Finance Ministry is planning to circulate a memorandum to taxpayers giving detailed directions as to what they should do in order to rectify mistakes or ommissions they made to E9 that made them miss out on reductions to the new joint property tax (ENFIA). Ethnos newspaper states that the General Secretariat of Public Revenue is particularly focusing on assisting 600,000 property owners that would have been entitled to a 20% reduction had they completed the correct codes on their E9 statements whereas those who have property with constructions in progress should also take care as there is a 60% reduction in their case after they fill in code 9 of column 32 on their E9 statement.
