Giannis Antetokounmpo married his longtime partner, Mariah Riddlesprigger, in a reception held at Costa Navarino on Sunday afternoon (1/9), concluding a three-day celebration with select guests.

Guests from the basketball and sports world attended the Greek superstar’s wedding. Nikos Gikas shared some memorable photos on his Instagram account, featuring reactions from the Greek Freak, Thanasis and Alex Antetokounmpo, Chris Middleton, Bobby Portis Jr., Jrue Holiday, Dimitris Agravanis, and Christos Saloustros, among others.

After a decade-long relationship and three children—4-year-old Liam, 3-year-old Maverick, and 11-month-old Eva—Giannis and Mariah exchanged vows of eternal love and loyalty against a picturesque sunset backdrop.

The Wedding at Sunset

The ceremony reportedly took place between 6:00 and 7:00 PM, a time chosen to allow the sunset to create a unique atmosphere as the couple exchanged vows. Following the ceremony, a reception took place, attended by all the special guests, including LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis with his wife, Mareva Grabowski.

The Menu

The couple’s menu featured fish fillet with celery puree, rib-eye with potatoes, asparagus and truffle, sweet potato gnocchi with smoked tomato sauce, and various salads. Dessert options included chocolate mousse with lemongrass and semifreddo with passion fruit, coconut, and mango.

Additionally, Giannis introduced his first wine, the result of his partnership with Greek wineries, where he holds a 10% stake through his investment company, Ante Inc. The rosé wine bears Mariah’s name and will be available in both standard and magnum bottles.

Wedding Suit

Giannis was dressed by his personal friend and designer Giorgos Papadogamvros, who also designed the suits for Giannis’ brothers and the white outfits worn by guests during a pre-wedding event.

Privacy Measures

Privacy was strictly maintained with guests and staff required to sign confidentiality agreements, and the only way someone could approach the wedding was reportedly via drone.

Three-Day Celebration

The festivities began on Friday with a “White Party” where guests wore white outfits designed by Giorgos Papadogamvros. On Saturday, a “Nigerian Party” was held, honoring Giannis’ second homeland.
