Dramatic chase in Kifisia: Stolen vehicle crashes into pole – One injured and two arrested

A chase involving a stolen vehicle occurred earlier this morning, Wednesday, resulting in two arrests and one person sustaining minor injuries

According to initial reports from the Hellenic Police, the incident began around 11:50 AM when the police received a call about a stolen vehicle outside the Acharnes Town Hall.

Following this, police officers from the DIAS unit spotted the vehicle and signaled for it to stop, but the driver did not comply.

The driver accelerated, leading to a chase. Near Kalyftaki, the driver became cornered and attempted to escape by crashing twice into a police vehicle, though no injuries were reported.

Ultimately, on Acharnon Street in Kifisia, the vehicle crashed into a pole and then ended up in the yard of a building, near the local tax office.

Reports indicate that one civilian was injured slightly, while the police made two arrests.
