Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ Speech: Future Development Plans for Evros Region

The Prime Minister earlier visited the village of Tychero in Evros

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is currently addressing a speech at the Cultural Center at the Municipality of Orestiada on development in Evros.

The event is entitled “National Strategy for Regional and Local Development. We discuss, we decide, we move forward, TOGETHER for Evros”, and Kyriakos Pierakakis, Christos Staikouras, Takis Theodorikakos, Michalis Chrysochoidis, Lina Mendoni, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, Sofia Zacharaki, Kostas Tsiaras, Akis Skertsos, Nikos Papathanasis, Yannis Kefalogiannis, Christos Triantaopoulos, Thanasis Kontogeorgis and Kostas Gioulekas accompany the Prime Minister with them and the Secretaries General Stathis Stathopoulos, Nikos Papaioannou, Vangelis Gountoufas, Vangelis Kyriazopoulos, the commander of the DYPA Spyros Protopsaltis.

The prime minister spoke with residents of the village, who praised the initiatives taken to support and restore the area after the 2023 fire.

Special reference was made to the “Evros Pass”, which residents noted had been particularly well received, and to the grid of measures of state assistance.
