In honor of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Olga Vlachopoulou shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram, delivering her powerful message of hope and resilience.
In her post, the lyricist expresses gratitude for her birthday, which she celebrates “twice over,” as she feels she has been “born” twice — once by her mother and once by life itself after her illness. In light of World Breast Cancer Day, she emphasizes the importance of prevention and sends her love and respect to all women fighting the disease.
In detail, she writes:
“October is undoubtedly my month. And this year, I celebrated my birthday twice! I was born twice! Once by my biological mother and once by life itself. The illness came and taught me the true meaning of my existence! Today is World Breast Cancer Day! And prevention is half the cure! All my love and respect go out to every woman fighting this disease. May all the precious wishes I’ve received from you be shared with each one of them! Thank you all so much. Love yourself.”
